Student Leadership
Nhill Lutheran School aims to build leadership capacity in all its students by providing opportunities throughout primary school.
Our Year 6 students have the opportunity to serve as school captains, vice-captains and sports captains. The Student Representative Council (SRC) is an active group of students within the school with representatives selected from each class. The SRC plan for fundraising, as well as ensuring student voice is shared.
Students are also encouraged to show initiative in leading lunchtime activities. This has seen a range of initiatives being offered including netball and football clubs, a jewelry making group, art and craft activities, cubby building, chess club and more.
Each year students in the older grades attend a day off-site dedicated to developing leadership skills.
